Pros: The strategy is highly effective for short term wins. It may also protect bettors from losing too much within a short period. When you lose seven times in a row, the betting limit makes it impossible for you to keep betting.

Cons: You may lose substantial cash before winning a sizeable amount of money. It may even be impossible to win an amount substantial enough to compensate for the losses accumulated. The steep progression of the game makes it a particularly risky strategy and is not used by experienced players.

Reverse Martingale Strategy

This technique works by increasing each bet 2X after every win, contrary to the Martingale strategy, and decreasing the bet to the lowest possible amount when players lose. It follows the idea that if a bettor is unlucky, their losses are limited, and the bets are increased if they are on a winning streak. So if you place a $5 wager on black and you win. Then you place another $10 on black, you win again. Then you wager another $20 on Red, but this time you lose. If you wager another $5 on black and you win. Then another $10 on black and you win, This means you have recouped the initial $20 you lost, and you have an additional $10. 

Pros: If you’re on a winning streak, this strategy would even boost your winnings. The risks are minimal compared to the Martingale strategy. 

Cons: The strategy is heavily dependent on a winning streak, which you’re not sure to get. If you’re on a winning streak and you keep increasing your bet 2X, losing once could wipe out all your previous winnings. 

The Fibonacci Strategy

This strategy follows a mathematical sequence of 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, and 144. When gamblers lose with this strategy, they proceed to the next number in the sequence. This strategy is more effective for even money odds. For instance, if your initial wager is $1. The game uses a progressive strategy so for even-money wagers, you’d do so like this $1 $1 $2 $3 $5 $8 $13 $21 $34 $55 $89 $144. After each win, you proceed two numbers to the left. For every loss, you proceed to the next number on the right. 

Pros: Ideally, the Fibonacci sequence requires no betting limits. Regardless of the number of times a bet is lost, you’d recoup your losses as long as you have bankroll sufficient enough for another wager. 

Con: Recouping your losses is impossible if you’re on a losing streak, and your bankroll is insufficient. 

Labouchère strategy

This roulette technique allows you to customize your wins. For instance, if you have 40 chips and you divide them into smaller units of 6, 4, 2, 8, 6, 2, 8, 2, 2. Then you set apart the numbers on the end, 6 and 2 in this case, and you add them to place your wager. Then you wager on the sum of the next set of end numbers- 4 and 2 in this case, so you’d place your wager on 6. Continue doing this till you have exhausted all the chips. If you do not win any of the wagers, sum up the total stake to one of the outside numbers and continue betting. The strategy speculates that you’ll eventually win a sizeable amount. 

Pros: You can still meet your desired number even if you lose a few bets. In some cases, your losses can surpass your wins, and you’d still make a profit. 

Cons: The La Bouchere strategy is ineffective for players without a sizeable bankroll.

Paroli System

When using the Paroli System, you have to double your bet after each win until you win three times in succession. Selecting your minimum losses is very important, particularly in the event of a loss. For instance, if your minimum bet is $2 and you wager on Red. In the event of a loss, you’d have to wager $2 on red again. You must do this continually until you win. Then after a win, you’d wager $4 on Red. If you lose after this, you’d have to go back to your minimum bet- $2. But if you’re lucky enough to win, then you’d have to wager $8 on red again. So if you win all three wagers in succession, you’d have $12 in profit. There are eight possible outcomes for every three successive wagers.

Pros: The Paroli strategy minimizes your losses by providing you with few sizeable winnings and numerous minimal losses. When using the Paroli technique, losses can be terminated as soon as you discover you have lost a certain amount of money. 

Cons: The strategy requires precision when timing your bets. It becomes ineffective in the long run, and it has no significant effect on the house edge. 

The James Bond Betting Strategy 

This roulette betting technique is very popular among newbies. The strategy is a combination of wagers that provide the highest roulette winning odds. For every spin, you’d be wagering on more than half of the numbers on the board. You need a minimum of $200 to use this strategy. The strategy works this way: First, you have to wager $140 on high numbers 19-36. Then place another $50 wager on numbers 13-18. The last $10 should be wagered on 0. In the event that you’re unlucky and you land a number between 1 and 12, you’d lose your $200. However, in the event that you win other bets, you’d earn a sizeable profit. 

Pros: By using this strategy, you’d get to minimize your losses since your bets are spread across the table. Additionally, the wins from this strategy are potentially substantial.

Cons: The James Bond strategy requires a large bankroll, which may not be feasible for many bettors. The biggest risk is when you land any number from 1 to 12

The 666 Strategy

This roulette technique follows the idea of betting on several numbers on the board. With the 666 strategy, you’d have to wager $66 in such a way that leaves room for only four losing numbers. The strategy works this way: First, you’d bet $36 on black or Red (which are outside bets with a payout of 1:1), then you’d split a $4 bet on six pairs of numbers. This leaves you with seven numbers left; then, you’d place straight-up bets on 3 out of these numbers. With the 666 strategy, you have a payout of 1:1 on the outside bets, split bets at 17:1 payout, and three straight up bets at 35:1 payout. 

Pros: The 666 strategy offers an impressive bet coverage since the risk is spread across the roulette board. 

Cons: Although a straight-up bet pays out 35:1, the actual odds are 37:1, and this is due to the house edge. The technique is quite risky as you have to wager a substantial amount on each spin, and you may be unable to recoup your losses even if you land big wins.
