Are You Always Losing at Slots? There May be a Reason.

…it’s not like we all win all the time but there are ways to do better.

In fact, all slots have one thing in common indisputably, they will take more money in than they will pay out. Its is a cold hard truth, but in no way should you ever think otherwise as if it were any different their entire function would be eliminated. With that said, there are a few ways to play longer and win more even though they are entirely random.

The purpose of all casino games is two fold. The first and foremost is as I have said above, to generate revenue for the casino by taking it from players bets minus what it pays back. Secondly, they are here for the players entertainment which is what drives all slots gamblers to sit back and spin the reels.

What can I say, it is a lot of fun to win cash and that’s really why we love to try our luck on them. It is not as much fun if you are always busting out right away without getting in a decent amount of gaming. That’s where these solutions should help to play reviews of slots for money longer and with better odds naturally.

Know your bankroll

I am aware that you know how much money you are bringing to the table. That’s not what I am asking you to think about. What I am trying to say is get comfortable knowing the average amount of playtime for how big your betting per spin. Here is an example:

Alice deposited $100 and is playing the newest slot with a bonus for Royal Ace Casino making her total bankroll $200. If she wagers $2.50 per spin she will only be able to play 1/2 the time if she would have bet $1.25 on average. If she would reduce her bet to $.50, she would be able to have five times the amount time to test the God’s of randomness favor.

Now can you get bigger wins when you bet higher? Of course that’s the point! But being smart about not betting $5 a spin when you only have a small amount of expendable cash is too risky if you are looking to spend awhile do what you came to do. The net effect of time in slot gaming is always the same when you look at a larger picture. These are just averages of course, but by knowing how much is in your pocket it could certainly help you not be always losing at the thing you love to do.

Know the games variance and adjust

Now that you understand how much you intend on putting at stake and you have sat down, logged in, made you deposit and picked out a new game to try you should think about what is the volatility or variance of the slot. Variance is the average chance the wins will be a lot of small ones, or a few larger ones.

A low-volatility means it will hit many smaller wins, usually around 3x bet to archive its’ average payback (we will discuss this more later). A high-volatility means it could go a long time without winning anything, but when it does, it’s huge compared to low variance. These type of games can pay up to 1000x bet but can also make you broke in the matter of minutes.

If your always losing, try betting less on high variance and more on low variance and you will find it to be effective in extending the joy gambling beyond all expectations. OK, so its not quite that good but it still works.

Know if your paying toward a progressive

Playing network progressive jackpot slots can almost always be guaranteed to cost more than non-progressive versions. This is because those million dollar prizes are built from a small percentage of every wager on every progressive slot from the same manufacturer. The other common ground these monstrosities stand on is they always require over $2 wagers, sometimes even more. They are the only way to become a millionaire overnight short of winning the lotto, but are not advised unless you have at least $300 to try to get in enough max bets to get an inkling of a chance to see those stars fall.

Know the Return to Player (RTP)

This is not always a possibility. Nine times out of ten any number you read printed somewhere that says, “these online slots have a 99% RTP” is mostly likely a lie. Tread lightly as this type of embellishment has been seen in a lot of marketing lately. Don’t gamble on it because only a select few third parties can certify a game. This video does a great job of explaining RTP and what it is from a guy who works inside slot machine cabinets tinkering with its inner parts.

The only slots online that publicly announces each one’s return to player are casinos powered by Rival. In order to see it, players click on the help menu after selecting a slot and scroll all the way to the bottom. There you will see an updated value for the games average payback. One of the two Rivals I frequently suggest is the Slots Capital as it has the best deposit and cashout methods and is a legal site for US players in 2018.

I also recommend taking a look at the other USA online casino reviews and bonuses available simply because variety is truly the spice of life. I don’t know about you, but I love playing new stuff almost as much as I love playing the classics. There is only one of each because the best was already hand-selected based on software type so that you will see nothing but different gambling opportunities, and not the same stuff with a different logo above it.

If you would like to test them out in a secure environment from a group that is highly regarded as honest and transparent, Slots Capital is a great choice, but be warned that USA players will have to prove their identity before they are allowed to withdraw by presenting a photo ID to security. This is actually common practice in all online casinos, but the way they make it look it doesn’t always seem like you would have to jump through that hoop. The good news is that they now let you cover the middle numbers of the ID to prevent any possibly of identity theft or other problems born from dishonest operations of old.
